Metal

Calligaris uses metal with two types of finish: chrome-plating or coating. The chrome-plating process deposits a layer of chromium on the metal giving it a shiny mirror finish and high resistance. The coating process involves applying a coat of coloured pigments made from metal powders to the substrate followed by a clear protective coat for gloss and abrasion resistance.

Leather

Leather is an elegant material whose looks improve with time. Elastic and breathable, makes leather seating warm and cosy during winter and cool and pleasant during summer. Leather is a natural product which may have small marks, scars, differences in grain and colour that reveal the individuality of each hide. Over the years wrinkles and creases may appear due to the elasticity of “Vera Pelle” (genuine Italian leather).
